Berend LUBBE (Löbe): (Barend Lubbe) Hy kom voor November 1692 in die Kaap aan. Hy trou met Jacoba BRANDENBURG, die niggie van Johannes van Heyningen, onderkoopman van die die VOC.
In November 1692 het Jan Margra en Barend Lubbe ooreengekom om saam op Margra se plaas te boer, op voorwaarde dat Lubbe Margra se skuld oorneem.

1692; Willem Barend Lubbe, a German settler, began farming the site he had been granted by Simon van der Stel on the Bottelary Hills overlooking False Bay. He named the farm De Wolwedans, which means “The Dance of Wolves”, because he mistook the packs of jackals which roamed the countryside in those early days of European settlement for wolves. Now known as Neethlingshof.

Aletta married Paulus KEYSER SV in 1716 in Cape Town, Cape of Good Hope. Paulus was born in 1675 in Bad Salzungen, Wartburgkreis, Thüringen, Germany. He died before 26 Apr 1752 in Stellenbosch, Cape of Good Hope.
Paulus Keyser: Originally from Salzungen in Germany, he was baptized on December 5, 1675 in Allendorf, near Saizungen. In 1707 he arrived in Table Bay with the "General Vrede" as a soldier in the service of the H.O.I.K. From 1708 to 1709 and from 1711 to 1715 he worked as a farm servant.
In 1717 he received citizenship and became the owner of the farm "Hartenberg" in the Stellenbosch district, where he devoted himself to cattle breeding. As a master marksman, Keyser participated in many elephant hunts. In September 1729 he was promoted from non-commissioned officer to the rank of sergeant of the Citizen Infantry for his district.
When he was a very old man (he died in 1752), Keyser was the host of the German writer Otto Friedrich Mentzel.
